How these pages work
Each family page lists the common fault codes in a table – code, short meaning, likely causes and first checks – with a link straight to each code. Every code was checked against the manufacturer's own public manual, which is named and linked on the page and stays the reference. Codes we couldn't confirm in a manufacturer document are left out.

Safety first: lock out and tag out the equipment before you open a drive or touch its wiring, and follow the manufacturer's procedure. Drive DC bus capacitors stay charged after power is removed: wait the time the manual and the drive's label give; then a qualified person verifies zero voltage with a properly rated meter, checking the meter on a known source before and after. Never bypass a safety circuit or switch off a fault to keep a machine running. Only qualified personnel should work on drives, and any measurement on energized equipment follows your site's live-work and arc-flash rules.

Frequently asked questions
Where do the fault code meanings on these pages come from?
From the manufacturer's own public manual for each family, named and linked on every page. The meanings, causes and checks are written in our own words and kept short; the manual stays the reference.
My fault code isn't listed. What should I do?
Each page covers the codes technicians run into most often. Look the code up in the manufacturer's manual linked on the page, or send us the code and the drive's catalog number and we'll quote a replacement part.
