Busway: the series matters as much as the amps
Bus plugs, fittings and tap boxes are built for one busway system. A plug of the right rating from a different series will not engage the bus, so a busway quote starts with the series or type printed on the duct and the plug's nameplate: amperes, voltage, phases, and whether it is a fusible or breaker plug. Our stock of switchgear, transfer switch and bus duct parts changes constantly, and what is not on the shelf we look for in our sourcing network.
Transformers, disconnects and metering
Distribution projects also need the equipment around the bus: transformers by kVA and voltage, enclosed disconnects and safety switches, current transformers and panel meters for metering, and enclosures. Large and heavy items travel by freight; if the delivery site needs a liftgate or an appointment, ask for a freight quote with your order.

Safety first: distribution equipment must be installed by qualified personnel, to the equipment's ratings and the available fault current at the installation, under your site's lockout/tagout and arc-flash rules.

Can you quote busway and bus plugs?
Yes. Send the busway type or series, the ampere rating, voltage and phases, and the plug's rating and style. A bus plug has to match the busway system it plugs into, so the series matters as much as the amps.
Do you quote transfer switch parts?
Yes: controllers, operators, contacts and other components for automatic and manual transfer switches, from our stock or our sourcing network. Send the transfer switch nameplate and the part number on the failed component.
How do transformers and busway ship?
By freight. Heavy or oversized items are quoted with freight after packing, or up front if you ask. A liftgate, appointment or job-site delivery is added to the freight quote when you need it.
