PLC & automation quotes
PLC, I/O and HMI quotes for current and legacy platforms
A processor fault, a dead I/O card or a blank operator screen can stop a whole line. Send the catalog number, series and firmware from the module's label and we'll quote a match from our shelves or our sourcing network – processors, I/O, communication modules, chassis, power supplies and HMIs, platforms still in production and ones long discontinued.

Read the label before you ask
Everything we need is usually on the module: the catalog or order number, the series letter or product version, and often the firmware revision. Our guides to reading Allen-Bradley catalog numbers and Siemens order numbers show where each part is printed and why it matters. With those details we can quote a unit that goes into the slot and runs the program, not just one with a similar name.
Quotes cover the whole control system: processors and CPUs, I/O modules, communication and network modules, chassis and power supplies and HMIs and touch screens.
Legacy platforms still in service
Plenty of lines run on controllers that were discontinued years ago, and they keep running because spares can still be found. If your platform is one of them, keep one spare of each critical module and plan a migration on your own schedule – our article on keeping an SLC 500 running or migrating is a worked example of that decision. For platforms that are fully out of production, see our obsolete parts quotes.
What to send for an accurate quote
- The full catalog number with the series letter or product version
- Firmware revision, if the program depends on it
- Chassis size, slot or rack position
- The network or protocol the module talks on
- For HMIs: screen size, model and the software version of your project
- Quantity, and whether used units are acceptable

How quoting works
Send the part number or the list
One part on the quote form, or a whole BOM, RFQ or ISO list as a spreadsheet or PDF on our ISO list page.
Get a written quote
Single parts: we reply within 1 hour during business hours (Mon–Fri 9–3:30 CT). Lists: an official written quote in under 24 hours on business days, with price, condition and availability per line.
Send a PO and pay
Send a purchase order against the quote and pay by card or wire; we ship once it's paid. Buying for a business explains POs and tax-exempt purchasing.
Line down after hours or on a weekend? Call 469-316-8517 and we'll tell you the cost of sending someone in to ship your part – subject to availability, no fixed price.
We'll beat your lowest written quote – or we'll take you to dinner.
Found a lower price? Send us the other seller's written quote and we'll beat it.

Frequently asked questions
Does the series or firmware matter when I order a PLC module?
It can. A later hardware series usually replaces an earlier one, but processors and communication modules may need a minimum firmware or software version. Tell us what is on the label and what your project needs; the quote states the series and, where we know it, the firmware of each unit.
Can you quote a whole rack – processor, I/O and power supply?
Yes. List every module with its catalog number and quantity, or send a photo of the rack with the labels readable. One quote covers every slot, with the condition of each line stated.
Do processors and HMIs come with my program loaded?
No. They ship without your application. Keep current backups of every PLC program and HMI project so a replacement can be loaded and running quickly.
Will you quote a newer platform instead of a discontinued one?
When you ask, yes. Most buyers want the exact module first because it drops into the existing rack and program; a platform migration is best planned for a shutdown, not done during an outage.
